Egg Nug

You can whip up this five-ingredient take on the classic Christmas cup in 15 mins, and it’s the best way to get everyone rockin’ around the tree.

Cook time: 15 mins

Yields: 6 servings

Ingredients:

2 bags Munchy Brothers chocolate chip cookies

1 box vanilla pudding

3 cups egg nog

1 tbsp spiced rum

1 tsp nutmeg 

Directions:

1.     Preheat oven to 375°F and set cookie dough on a baking sheet.

2.     While the oven is preheating, add the remaining ingredients in a medium sized pot and bring to a simmer. Stir until thickened and transfer to a bowl. Set in the fridge to chill.

3.     Bake cookies on the middle rack for 9-12 minutes

4.     Let cookies cool on the tray

5.     Spoon or pipe custard into the base of a small cup, crumble half a cookie and then layer another serving of custard, top off with the remaining cookie.

Candibis Cane Parfait 

Line up your candy cane fix this year with a creamy, chilled out treat. Freshly baked cookies crumbled in between fluffy layers of chilled marshmallow mint cream and crunchy candy cane bits will have your holiday jam lit like a tree.

Cook time: 15 mins

Yields: 6 servings

Ingredients:

2 bags Munchy Brothers mint chocolate chip cookies

1 cup 35% cream

½ cup marshmallow fluff

½ tsp peppermint extract

¼ cup crushed candy canes

1-2 drops red food coloring

Directions:

1.     Preheat oven to 375°F and set cookie dough on a baking sheet.

2.     While the oven is warming up, place cream, peppermint extract and food coloring in a large mixing bowl. Whip until stiff peaks form, using a spatula fold in marshmallow fluff and set it in the fridge to chill.

3.     Bake cookies on the middle rack for 9-12 minutes

4.     Let cookies cool on the tray

5.     Spoon of pipe cream into the base of a bowl, sprinkle in candy cane bits, crumble half the cookie and top with another layer of cream. Sprinkle in candy cane bits and top with the remaining cookie.
